My name is Lorrie Klemons.

I’m looking forward to empowering you!

When I was four years old, my mother became a victim of the polio epidemic. Although too young to remember many details, I do remember the ladies in white who made my mother feel so good and gave her reason to smile. At the age of fifteen, I spent the summer as a candy striper volunteer at a local hospital, an experience which solidified my destiny to become a nurse. Nursing, nursing education, and patient empowerment became my life-long passions.

While working as the Wellness Nurse for an adult & senior program, my passion for senior advocacy ignited. From that passion evolved Klemons HealthCare Consulting, to specifically promote senior advocacy and empowerment.

In March, 2016, all of my professional nursing experience, patient advocacy and best mothering strategies were called into action when my son was diagnosed with two concurrent life threatening conditions. I became a Warrior Mom, spending 24/7 at his bedside advocating and caregiving for him during a nine month illness that included six hospitalizations, seven surgeries, chemo and radiation. While I'm thrilled to report that my son is doing well, the experience further impassioned me to make sure that every patient has a voice. In that pursuit, I now also offer End-of-Life Death Doula services to my clients to make sure their voice is heard, even at the end of life.
